Our ethos

A good word, a good tree, a good child

Our name comes from the Qur'an — the shajaratun tayyibah, the good tree whose roots are firm and whose branches reach the sky. That is our vision for every child who joins us: deep roots in faith and knowledge, and a life that rises to benefit others.

We combine authentic Islamic learning with warmth, structure and genuine care — delivered through live online lessons, so children look forward to every class and parents feel completely at ease knowing they're learning safely from home.

Tell us what suits you

When you book your free trial, just say which days and times are best for your child — we'll find a teacher who's free then and confirm it with you by email. Lessons are held on Google Meet (or Zoom if you prefer) — we send the link, you just click it.

Every parent's question

"But how do I know they're actually learning?"

Most madrasahs answer that with "he's doing well, mashaAllah". We answer it with a record — a private page for your family that shows exactly where your child is, and proves it.

1

The teacher writes up every lesson

What was covered, which ayat, how the recitation went, the homework and the next target. You see it the same day — not at a parents' evening six months later.

2

You send the proof from home

When your child recites a surah to you, record it — a voice note straight from the page, or a video from your phone. You write what they did and sign it, and it goes into their record as your own witness.

3

The teacher confirms it

Their teacher listens, checks it, and marks the surah as memorised. Only then does it count towards the total — so the progress you see is real, not wishful.

Ayah by ayah, juz by juz

Their record counts every ayah they have memorised out of the 6,236 in the Qur'an, shows which of the thirty juz are finished, and tracks their duas, salah, tajweed rules, seerah and Arabic alongside it. Years later, that recording of your seven-year-old reciting Surah An-Nas is still there.

It is private. Recordings of your child can only ever be seen by you, their teacher and the school office. They are never published, never shared and never used in advertising — and you can ask us to delete any of them at any time.

Fees

Fees are agreed with each family

Every child is different — how many lessons they need, how often, and what suits the family is never the same twice. So we don't publish a price list. We talk with you, agree what your child needs, and agree a fee that is fair for your family.

Your first lesson is free

A full trial lesson with a teacher, at no cost and with no obligation, before anything is agreed.

Agreed with you, in writing

We discuss the fee with you directly, confirm it in writing, and it does not change without your agreement.

Families are looked after

More than one child, or a difficult month? Speak to us. No contracts and no tie-in — you may stop at any time.
